Our Mission
The principal philosophy of PT Freeman Carbon Indonesia is to develop process plant fo international standards thus enabling us to deliver only the highest qualify coconut shell activated carbons fo our valued ets.
Hence, top priority is placed on plant efficiency as well as product consistency. The company has invested heavily in the acquisition of highly accurate laboratory equipment to ensure iu quality control testing to international standards.
On August 21st 2007, PT. Freeman Carbon Indonesia were successful in obtaining NSF/ANSI standard 61 accreditation for all their products to be used in the treatment of potable water.
Who We Are
PT. Freeman Carbon Indonesia was established in September 2002 as a producer of coconut shell activated carbon.
The factory is located in Bandar Lampung, South Sumatera. The nearest sea port is Panjang Port which is fully equipped for container handling.
The plant is designed, and constructed, under the stringent supervision of our consultant engineer who has more than 30 years of experience in rotary kiln technology and all associated activated carbon process plant.
The plant commenced commercial production in January 2003 and currently utilizes two rotary kilns with a combined capacity of 2,400mt per year. A third kiln is currently under construction that will add another 1,200mt per year of capacity commencing April 2009.
